Larry Schneider – Principal Consultant 

Larry is our Principal Consultant with more than 38 years’ experience in the parking industry in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. He was an executive director of the Wilson Parking Group until 2004, manager of Luxmoore Parking Consulting, and more recently Principal Technology Leader in the Future Transport Infrastructure Group of the Australian Road Research Board (ARRB).

He has reviewed and prepared parking strategies and policies for many state government departments and more than 40 local government authorities in Australia and other countries.    

Larry has exposure to a wide range of local and international parking industry interests. He provided input on the course content of the Parking Education Program at Monash University and facilitated a Parking Operations Training Workshop which received an Award for Excellence. Larry has presented papers on parking at forums in Australia, Canada, China, the Middle East, New Zealand and the USA.

He has had responsibility for the development and implementation of management contracts, audit controls, parking operations, security, market research and marketing plans, compliance, and the introduction of new technologies. He has an excellent understanding of the many issues associated with minimum parking requirements and maintains a core focus on sustainable parking practices.  

Larry has wide ranging expertise that includes research and strategy development, project management of new technologies and facility operations, the investigation of better approaches to transport management, security and compliance, and technical writing / editing. He holds degrees in Commerce, Arts and Law
