Laurie Smith – Principal Technology Leader 

Laurie Smith is a highly accomplished senior executive with senior management, consultancy, electrical and electronic qualifications and experience in the security and parking industries.
 

He has held the position of State Manager for Wilson Equipment Services from 2000 to 2003 and National Security and Project manager for TMA from 2009 to 2014.
 

Laurie has over 30 years’ experience providing technical and consultancy services for security, on and off-street parking, parking guidance systems, precinct guidance systems, wireless communications and Control Room design and implementation.
 

His clients include Victoria Police, GMH, Philips Australia, Kmart, Myers, Centro Properties, Salto Properties, Direct Factory Outlets, Wilson Parking, TMA, Metro Parking, Care Park, Ace Parking, and Point Parking.
 

More recently Laurie has undertaken the role of project lead for the Queen Victoria Markets, University of Melbourne, National Capital Authority and University of Sunshine Coast parking access control projects.
