Matthew brings over 30 years of property and parking experience, offering Abacus clients a commercially grounded, owner-side perspective that complements the team's operational and technology capabilities.
His expertise spans revenue optimisation, tariff design, customer segmentation, financial modelling, statutory cost recovery and governance. Where Abacus's broader team addresses systems and operations, Matthew connects these to measurable financial outcomes — including revenue uplift, NOI improvement and long-term asset value enhancement.
Matthew has worked across both operator (26+ years) and landlord (16+ years) contexts, with direct exposure to hotels, commercial assets and large-scale residential developments. This dual perspective allows him to develop strategies that are both commercially sound and practically implementable.
